Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Dean Barbara J. Nelson of the UCLA School of Public Affairs (UCLA-SPA) announced a new graduate fellowship funded by the David Bohnett Foundation that will support UCLA-SPA graduate students in year-long internship programs in the Los Angeles Mayors Office. The partnership with the Mayor's Office will help train the next generation of public servants in Los Angeles by bringing graduate-level policy research fellows onto its staff beginning in the summer of 2007.
