Andrew Garrett

Andrew Garrett (NYU Wagner MPA 2024) is deeply passionate about belonging, community building, and bringing people together across differences – social and sectoral. He has 10+ years of experience as a theatre artist, administrator, and educator; 2+ years of experience in social services in mental health and youth homelessness; and is currently gaining experience in local government, B Corporations, and consulting. Andrew spent the summer of 2023 as the United States Conference of Mayors Bohnett Fellow, where he created a program and set of recommendations for mayors at the intersection of mental health and the arts. Andrew serves as the co-chair of the Social Innovation and Investment Alliance at NYU Wagner, and he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University.
