NYU Wagner School of Public Service: Seth Gordon

Seth Gordon

Seth Gordon is a Brooklyn resident with deep roots in public service. Inspired by his mother’s job teaching English at a women’s homeless shelter, he began his career in public service from a young age, volunteering for political campaigns in high school. While studying Political Science and History of Art and Architecture and Tufts University, he worked for various political campaigns, elected officials, and nonprofits in the greater Boston Area. He most recently worked as the development associate at The Family Center, a Brooklyn nonprofit providing holistic services to individuals and families in crisis. At NYU Wagner, Seth is deepening his data and policy analysis skills, while also gaining experience in housing, transit, and financial policy. A skilled communicator, analyst, and advocate, Seth plans to use his degree to better serve his community and city.
