Technology entrepreneur, philanthropist and USC Trustee David Bohnett ’78 has been honored by two national organizations for his support and ongoing work on gun violence-prevention issues as well as civic leadership and philanthropy.
Bohnett was honored by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence with a Brady Bear award May 4th at an annual gala in Los Angeles.
Co-chaired by Adam McKay and Brad Pitt, the gala ceremony celebrates the partnership between the Brady Center and the entertainment industry, and honors those whose work amplifies ongoing gun-violence prevention issues.
President Bill Clinton and producer Dede Gardner were also honored at the gala.
The Bohnett Foundation has been a strong supporter of the Brady Center and continues to shine a light on gun violence-prevention issues through research and public policy initiatives.
