Andrew DeLeeuw is concentrating on state and municipal policy and cross sector collaboration.
Prior to this, he served as an AmeriCorps member and Senior Program Manager with City Year Detroit, a non-profit organization working to help public school students find academic and social success.
Additionally, he and his wife Megan are the owners of a locally oriented, sustainably operated vegetable farm in western Washtenaw County, Michigan, where Andrew also serves on his township's Mineral License Board.
This summer, he will be placed as a David Bohnett Fellow with the Detroit Mayor's Office. In his free time, what little there is, he is a carpenter, a reader, a brewer, and a mechanic.
