Chris Ah-San completed his Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduation he worked as an electoral organizer for various political candidates and issues. After years in the field, he enrolled in a Master of Public Policy at USC Sol Price to blend his experience in on-the-ground engagement with the critical analysis and policy development.

As the inaugural USC Bonnet Fellow, Chris worked in the office of Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas of the 2nd District. He has continued to serve the 2nd district as the Deputy for Justice and Arts & Culture for Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell.
