Erin Lopez

Erin Lopez, a 2026 Bohnett Fellow, is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Her work is rooted in advancing equity for underserved communities across Los Angeles County, with specific policy interests in immigration and economic inequality.

Prior to Price, Erin served as a Data & Programs Analyst at the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), where she led research on domestic and international migration trends and supported emergency response efforts by delivering real-time data to partners during periods of crisis.

Erin received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy from UC Berkeley. While at Berkeley, she conducted research on municipal budgeting and fiscal policy at The People Lab and the Goldman School of Public Policy.

As an incoming Bohnett Fellow, Erin will serve in the office of Supervisor Hilda Solis supporting equity-focused policy initiatives in Los Angeles County’s First District. Raised in the San Gabriel Valley, she is committed to uplifting and advancing the well-being of the communities she calls home.
