Laura Zahn manages the services that help members to measure, report, verify and reduce their carbon footprint. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Help Desk, directing member trainings, managing online resources, facilitating member user groups, and developing and producing member events.
Before joining The Climate Registry, Laura worked on energy and climate change issues for UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, the Climate Action Reserve, and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. When she’s not working in the environmental realm, Laura designs and makes fine furniture.
Laura has a Master’s in Urban Planning with a concentration in Environmental Analysis and Policy from UCLA and a Bachelor’s in Human Biology, Health and Society from the College of William and Mary.
