Mary Wallace

Mary Wallace completed her master’s degree in Social Welfare. As a MSW student, she specialized in macro studies – children, youth and families and mental health.

She has worked with individuals, families, and communities in a variety of settings in the U.S. and internationally.

Mary worked for Deputy Mayor Jeff Carr and the Gang Reduction and Youth Development department on a number of projects such as “Summer Night Lights,” a program designed to engage communities with a gang presence in positive activities at local parks.

Mary is now a program coordinator for a Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health fellowship program that provides adults with mental illness the opportunity to re-enter the workforce for one year while receiving practical education classes within an environment that is supportive of their recovery.
