Priya Zachariah

Priya Zachariah received her master’s degree in Urban Planning.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the Center for Environment, Planning and Technology in India and at the ETH in Zurich, Switzerland.

As a Bohnett Fellow with Deputy Mayor Helmi Hisserich and the Housing and Economic Opportunity team, she is studied the feasibility of a long-term strategy to transform public housing communities in Los Angeles. In addition, Priya assisted other members of the Deputy Mayor’s team in developing the Housing Production and Finance Progress report, in activities related to the Jordan Downs Redevelopment project and in laying down the preliminary ground work for creating a ‘think tank’ and a knowledge system around affordable housing production and policies in the city of Los Angeles.
