The Los Angeles Parks Foundation (LAPF) has announced that the Foundation and the Department of Recreation and Parks have secured a 10 year lease from the Department of Water and Power to restore the Franklin Canyon Orange Grove.

The David Bohnett Foundation has made a generous donation to LAPF for the restoration and maintenance of one of L.A.'s oldest remaining orange groves. The land will be designated for sustainable food production and the produce will be harvested by non-profits which provide food for the needy.
